2026幼稚園蝴蝶生命教育協作計劃正式展開！陳校長帶領團隊首次走進中華基督教會周宋主愛幼兒園，為小朋友帶來生動的生命教育講座，在滿滿驚喜之中，共度一小時快樂學習時光。

 

等候活動開始，小朋友開心獻唱多首兒歌。課上大家專心聽「蝴蝶爸爸」講解蝴蝶知識，舉起食指比對幼蟲大小，細心尋找幼蟲的十隻假腳。一開始不少孩子害怕毛毛蟲，藉由可愛教具引導，慢慢放下恐懼；看見真毛毛蟲時，都興奮伸出手指對比大小。

 

當中更出現意外驚喜：薑弄蝶幼蟲會捲葉躲藏，要輕輕拆開葉片才看得到。原本準備展示蝴蝶卵，竟發現卵已經孵化，毛毛蟲寶寶已經誕生！小朋友驚喜見到米粒般細小的新生幼蟲。

 

活動最後，大家走到天臺花園，小朋友伸出手指嘗試吸引蝴蝶停下拍照。雖然今次未能成功，但只要用心照料、培養感情，相信日後定可以與蝴蝶親密接觸。

 

The 2026 Kindergarten Butterfly Life Education Collaboration Project has officially commenced. Leading the team, Principal Mr Chan visited Yuen Long Church (CCC) Chow Sung Chu Oi Nursery School for the first time to deliver a special talk. Children enjoyed a joyful one‑hour learning session full of unexpected surprises.

 

Before the talk, the children sang lovely nursery rhymes. They listened attentively to ‘Butterfly Dad’ introducing facts about butterflies, used their index fingers to compare the size of caterpillars, and identified the larvae’s ten pro‑legs. Many children were initially afraid of caterpillars. With the help of vivid teaching aids, they gradually overcame their fear and excitedly compared sizes with real caterpillars.

 

A wonderful surprise unfolded: the larvae of the grass demon hide themselves inside rolled‑up leaves. When the team prepared to show butterfly eggs, they found the eggs had already hatched. The children were thrilled to spot newly‑hatched caterpillars as tiny as grains of rice.

 

Towards the end, the children went to the rooftop garden. They held out their fingers hoping butterflies would land for photos. Though no butterflies settled this time, it is believed the butterflies will draw near if the children keep caring for them patiently.
