本校積極推動蝴蝶保育工作，獲得社會各界的認同與肯定，更連續兩屆獲邀參加由鳳園環境保育區主辦的國際蝴蝶會議。10月3日，本校張偉成主任及廖嘉偉老師帶領學生參加第五屆國際蝴蝶會議。
會議開始前，與會嘉賓於演講廳外欣賞各優秀學校的保育成果分享。本校學生運用兩文三語，向現場嘉賓生動介紹本校蝴蝶園的特色與建設成果。
會議期間，張偉成主任與一眾嘉賓分享校內蝴蝶保育的學與教經驗，精彩分享贏得現場與會人士讚賞。
是次活動，本校榮獲「園境管理優異獎」，實至名歸。
Our school actively promotes butterfly conservation work and has earned recognition and affirmation from various sectors of the community. We have been invited for two consecutive years to participate in the International Butterfly Conference organised by Fung Yuen Environmental Conservation Area. On 3rd October, Mr Cheung Wai Shing and Mr Liu Ka Wai led our students to attend the 5th International Butterfly Conference.
Before the conference began, guests viewed conservation achievements showcased by outstanding schools outside the lecture hall. Our students used biliteracy and trilingualism to vividly introduce the features and development of our school butterfly garden to guests on site.
During the conference, Mr Cheung Wai Shing shared our school’s teaching and learning experience in butterfly conservation with fellow guests. His remarkable sharing was highly praised by all participants.
In this event, our school was presented with the Outstanding Landscape Management Award, a well-deserved honour.
